Amend HB 1076 as follows:                                                    
	(1)  On page 1, lines 9 and 10, strike "serving on active duty 
as a member of the United States military forces,".
	(2)  On page 1, line 13, between "veteran" and the period, 
insert "and for a resident on active duty as a member of the United 
States military forces".
	(3)  On page 1, line 14, through page 2, line 3, strike 
SECTION 2 of the bill and substitute the following:
	"SECTION 2.  Section 46.004(c), Parks and Wildlife Code, is 
amended to read as follows:
	(c)  The commission shall waive the fee for a qualified 
disabled veteran as defined by Section 42.012 and for a resident on 
active duty as a member of the United States military forces."
