Amend HB 1154 on 3rd Reading by adding the following 
appropriately numbered Section of the bill and renumbering the 
remaining Sections of the bill as appropriate:
	SECTION __.  Section 1.07(d), Texas Revised Limited 
Partnership Act (Article 6132a-1, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), 
is amended to read as follows:
	(d)  A partner or an assignee of a partnership interest, on 
written request stating the purpose, may examine and copy, in 
person or by the partner's or assignee's representative, at any 
reasonable time, for any proper purpose, and at the partner's 
expense, records required to be kept under this section and other 
information regarding the business, affairs, and financial 
condition of the limited partnership as is just and reasonable for 
the person to examine and copy. Records and information subject to 
this subsection include general ledgers.
