	Amend the Van Arsdale amendment to CSHB 1434 as follows:                     
	(1) On page 1, line 2, strike "SECTION" and substitute 
"SECTIONS".           
	(2) On page 1, following line 28, insert the following:                        
	SECTION ___. The amendment by this Act of Section 2001.002, 
Occupations Code, prevails over any conflicting act of the 79th 
Legislature, Regular Session, 2005, regardless of the relative 
dates of enactment.
