System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend HB 1685 as follows:                                                    

(1)  On page 1, line 13, between "prevention of" and "child 	abuse", insert "and early intervention in".
	(2)  On page 2, line 1, strike "and".                                   
	(3)  On page 2, line 2, strike the period and substitute "; 
and".     
	(4)  On page 2, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following:                   
		(10)  the Texas Department of Housing and Community 
Affairs.         
	(5)  On page 2, line 16, between "prevention" and "policies", 
insert "and early intervention".
	(6)  On page 2, line 22, between "prevention" and "programs", 
insert "and early intervention".
