Amend CSHB 1779 as follows: (1) On page 30, strike lines 8 through 15 and substitute the following: "(b) The penalty for a violation may be in an amount not to exceed $25,000 [$5,000]. Each day a violation continues or occurs is a separate violation for purposes of imposing a penalty."
