Amend HB 1829 as follows:                                                    
	(1)  On page 1, line 20, strike "A" and substitute "Subject to 
Subsection (d), a".
	(2)  On page 2, strike lines 5-8 and substitute the following:                 
	(d)  A fee or other charge under this section may not exceed 
the actual expense incurred by the institution as a result of 
accepting the payment by means of an electronic funds transfer or a 
credit card or as a result of the payment transaction being 
dishonored or refused.
