Amend CSHB 2120 by adding the following appropriately 
numbered SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS 
accordingly:
	SECTION __.  Subchapter Z, Local Government Code, is amended 
by adding Section 271.908 to read as follows:
	Sec. 271.908.  A county or municipality that enters a 
contract of $10,000 or less for building or construction is not 
required to comply with Subsections (a) and (b) of Section 406.096, 
Labor Code, if the procurement is with a local micro-business as 
defined by Section 2006.001, Government Code, and is located within 
the territorial boundaries of the county or municipality.
