Representative Puente offered the following amendment to HBi2525:
Amend HB 2525 on third reading in added Section 2264.003, Government
  Code, by inserting the following new Subsection (a) and redesignating
  subsequent subsections appropriately:
(a)  Except as provided by this section, this chapter prevails over any other
  law relating to public works contracts.
