System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend SECTION 3, CSHB 2572 by inserting the following as new 
subsection (c) in Sec. 533.0355, and renumbering the following 
sections accordingly:
	In determining eligibility under (b)(3), an authority must 
offer a state school as an option among the residential services 
available to any individual who, due to their mental retardation, 
is unable to enter the community without supervision due to the fact 
that they represent a substantial risk of injury to themselves.  The 
department shall ensure that local mental retardation authorities 
comply with this requirement, and shall consider their compliance 
with this requirement as a performance measure.
