Amend CSHB 2702 by adding the following appropriately 
numbered SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of 
the bill as appropriate:
	SECTION ___.  (a)  Subchapter B, Chapter 224, Transportation 
Code, is amended by adding Section 224.034 to read as follows:
	Sec. 224.034.  LIMITATION ON SIZE.  The entire width of a 
right-of-way of a state highway, including a turnpike that has been 
designated as part of the Trans-Texas Corridor, may not exceed 800 
feet in width.
	(b)  This section applies only to a state highway 
construction project for which all or a part of the right-of-way has 
not been obtained on the effective date of this Act.
