Amend CSHB 2702 by adding the following appropriately 
numbered SECTION and renumber subsequent SECTIONS accordingly:
	"SECTION ____.  Section 2262.002(b), Government Code, is 
amended to read as follows:
	(b)  This chapter does not apply to contracts of the Texas 
Department of Transportation that relate to highway construction or 
highway engineering or are subject to Section 201.112, 
Transportation Code."
