Amend CSHB 2902 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                      
	(1)  Strike the recital to SECTION 3 of the bill (page 1, 
lines 31 and 32) and substitute "SECTION 3. Subsections (e) and (f), 
Section 442.0083, Government Code, are amended to read as follows:
	(2)  Between the recital to SECTION 3 and amended Subsection 
(f), Section 442.0083, Government Code (page 1, between lines 32 
and 33, insert the following:
	(e)  A grant for a historic courthouse project may not exceed 
the greater of $6 [$4] million or two percent of the amount 
appropriated for implementing the historic courthouse preservation 
program during the state fiscal biennium.
