	Amend CSHB 2986 as follows:                                                  

(1)  On page 4, line 13, between the period and "Discovery", 	insert "The railroad commission shall hold an administrative 
hearing and enter an order approving an existing rate or setting a 
new rate in a matter relating to a complaint about a gathering rate 
before the 186th day after the date the matter is set for an 
administrative hearing unless the parties to the matter agree to an 
extension."
	(2)  On page 9, line 7, after the period, insert "The
