Amend CSSB 1 by adding the following appropriately numbered 
rider in Article VII of the bill after the appropriations to the 
Department of Transportation:
	____.  TAMAULIPAS OFFICE.  Out of the funds appropriated 
above in Strategy E.1.4., Regional Administration, an amount not to 
exceed $250,000 shall be used by the Department of Transportation 
to establish, through use of a nonprofit corporation that is 
experienced in transportation and is headquartered in a county of 
this state adjacent to the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, an office 
representing the department in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, to 
facilitate relations between this state and the state of Tamaulipas 
on transportation and tourism issues and any other issue within the 
jurisdiction of the department.
