Amend CSSB 1 as follows:                                                     
	In Article VIII, under the appropriations to the Residential 
Construction Commission (page VIII-65) insert the appropriately 
numbered rider:
	__ Homebuilder fees.  It is the intent of the legislature that 
the Commission shall charge homebuilders no less than $500 for 
original registration with the Commission and no less than $300 for 
a renewal registration.
