Required Action                                                      
	On page XI-68 of Items for Future Consideration, add the 
following new rider:
	Appropriation: Brush Removal in the Twin Buttes Reservoir 
Basin. In addition to the amounts appropriated above in Strategy 
C.1.1, Water Conservation and Enhancement, there is hereby 
appropriated to the Soil and Water Conservation Board $565,000 out 
of the General Revenue Fund for the fiscal year beginning on 
September 1, 2005. These funds shall be used for the removal of 
brush, including saltcedar and baccheris, in cooperation with the 
Upper Colorado River Authority in the Twin Buttes Reservoir basin.
	Any unexpended balance remaining in this appropriation on 
August 31, 2006, is hereby appropriated to the Soil and Water 
Conservation Board for the same purposes for the fiscal year 
beginning on September 1, 2006.
