Amend CSSB 6 as follows:                                                     

(1)  In SECTION 1.17 of the bill, in proposed Section 	261.3031, Family Code (House committee report page 14, line 12), 
between the period and "If", insert "(a)".
	(2)  In SECTION 1.17 of the bill, in proposed Section 
261.3031, Family Code (House committee report page 14, between 
lines 19 and 20), insert the following:
	(b)  For purposes of Subsection (a), a parent or other person 
who, in response to the department's investigation, seeks an 
evaluation of the child by a credible third-party professional, 
including a licensed physician or a licensed counselor, is 
considered to be cooperating with the investigation.
