System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend SB 411 on third reading as follows:                                    
	(1)  In amended Section 1602.002, Occupations Code, between 
"COSMETOLOGY." and "In", insert "(a)".
	(2)  In amended Section 1602.002(2), Occupations Code, strike 
"[or braiding]" and substitute "or braiding".
	(3)  At the end of amended Section 1602.002, Occupations 
Code, insert the following:
	(b)  The commission by rule may amend the definition of 
cosmetology to eliminate a service included in that definition 
under Subsection (a).
