Amend SB 524 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                         
	(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Subsection (b), 
Section 25.0362, Government Code (page 1, line 36), strike "or".
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Subsection (b), 
Section 25.0362, Government Code (page 1, line 37), strike the 
period and substitute "; or".
	(3)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Subsection (b), 
Section 25.0362, Government Code (page 1, between lines 37 and 38), 
insert the following:
		(5)  felony cases involving capital murder.
