Amend CSSB 1189 (House Committee Printing) by adding the 
following appropriately numbered SECTION and renumbering 
subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:
	SECTION __. Section 75.014, Government Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (h) to read as follows:
	(h)  A district judge in El Paso County or a judge of a 
statutory county court in El Paso County may serve as the local 
administrative judge for the council of judges. The council of 
judges shall elect a judge as local administrative judge for a term 
of not more than two years. The local administrative judge may not 
be elected on the basis of rotation or seniority.
