Amend SB 1691, Section 21, by adding "Except as provided 
herein," before the word "Chapter" on page 20, line 24, and 
inserting the following language at the between the end of page 21, 
line 4, and the beginning of page 21, line 5: "The retirement system 
shall be subject to the relevant requirements of Chapter 412, Texas 
Labor Code, only for the specific program(s) or service(s) the 
board elects to obtain from or through the State Office of Risk 
Management."
