Amend SB 1691, on page 49, by inserting a new Section 62 as 
follows and by renumbering the remaining section accordingly.
	"SECTION 62.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the 
changes made by SB 1691, 79th Legislature, Regular Session, do not 
take effect unless HB 2, 79th Legislature, Regular Session, or 
similar legislation, is enacted that would provide each classroom 
teacher, full-time librarian, full-time counselor and full-time 
school nurse a monthly salary increase of not less than $300."
