AUTHOR'S/SPONSOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENT

Currently, Randall County has only one county court at law.  Due to the recent growth in Randall County, the court is overloaded and an additional county court at law is needed.  As proposed, H.B. 597 creates the County Court at Law No. 2 of Randall County, to remedy overcrowding.
