BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

Currently there is no restriction on billboard advertising in the unincorporated areas of Bandera County.  HB 2402 adds multiple roadways in Bandera County to the list of roadways in Texas that prohibit certain off-premise signs.

RULEMAKING AUTHORITY

It is the committee's opinion that this bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, department, agency, or institution.
