AUTHOR'S/SPONSOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENT

Currently, Randall County has only one county court at law.  Due to recent growth in Randall County, the court is overloaded and an additional county court at law is needed.  S.B. 671 seeks to remedy the overcrowding by creating an additional court, namely the County Court at Law No. 2 of Randall County.
