A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to exempting certain military personnel from the hunter 
education program.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 62.014, Parks and Wildlife Code, is 
amended by adding Subsection (n) to read as follows:
	(n)  The requirements of this section do not apply to a 
person who:   
		(1)  is a member of the United States military forces 
serving on active duty; or
		(2)  was honorably discharged from the United States 
military forces.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
