A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to training, examination, and seminar attendance 
requirements for persons who are required or who wish to be licensed 
or registered to perform compressed natural gas activities and 
liquefied natural gas activities.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 116.034(a), Natural Resources Code, is 
amended to read as follows:
	(a)  The commission may [shall] adopt rules providing the 
training, examination, and seminar attendance requirements for 
persons who are required or who wish to be licensed or registered 
under this chapter.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
