properties of the person or entity.
(c) The fee authorized by this section:
(1) may not exceed $500;

authorized to impose to repair damage to the road because of the
cut.

the county roads; or
(2) is a utility that is not required under Chapter

that clearly identifies all connections in the county to existing
wells from which natural or casinghead gas is gathered or
transported and the delivery points in the county for all gas
pipeline facilities. The map must be filed with the county clerk of
the county and be in a format specified by the county clerk to
minimize the costs associated with handling, storing, and using the
maps.
SECTION 2. A fee imposed under Section 240.907, Local
Government Code, as added by this Act, applies only to a cutting of
a county road that occurs on or after the effective date of this
Act.
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
