A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the compensation of district judges in Bexar County.              
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 32.015(a), Government Code, is amended 
to read as follows:
	(a)  Notwithstanding Section 659.012, the [The] 
Commissioners Court of Bexar County shall budget for and pay the 
judges of the district courts having jurisdiction in that county an 
annual salary for services rendered and for performing 
administrative services.
	SECTION 2.  Section 32.015(d), Government Code, is repealed.                   
	SECTION 3.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
