A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT


relating to the health disparities task force.                              
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 107.004, Health and Safety Code, is 
amended to read as follows:
	Sec. 107.004.  REPORT.  The task force shall submit a 
biennial [an annual] report on the progress of the department in 
accomplishing the goals described by Section 107.002 to the 
governor, lieutenant governor, and speaker of the house of 
representatives.  This report may be combined with any other report 
required of the department by law.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
