AN ACT
relating to the juvenile boards of Grimes, Leon, Madison, and Walker Counties. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 152.0991(b), Human Resources Code, is amended to read as follows: (b) The commissioners court shall pay the juvenile board members additional annual compensation set by the commissioners court at not less than $1,200 annually [$100 nor more than $300], payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county. SECTION 2. Sections 152.1511(a) and (b), Human Resources Code, are amended to read as follows: (a) The juvenile board of Leon County is composed of the county judge and the district judges in Leon County [judges of the 12th and 278th Judicial Districts]. (b) The commissioners court shall pay the juvenile board members additional annual compensation set by the commissioners court at not less than $1,200 annually [$100 nor more than $300], payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county. SECTION 3. Section 152.1631(b), Human Resources Code, is amended to read as follows: (b) The commissioners court shall pay the juvenile board members additional annual compensation set by the commissioners court at not less than $1,200 annually [$100 nor more than $300], payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county. SECTION 4. Section 152.2421(b), Human Resources Code, is amended to read as follows: (b) The commissioners court shall pay the juvenile board members additional annual compensation of not less than $1,200 [an annual salary of $600], payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county. SECTION 5. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution.
