HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
	WHEREAS, House Bill No. 1172 has been adopted by the house of 
representatives and the senate and is being prepared for 
enrollment; and
	WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be 
corrected; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED by the 79th Legislature of the State of Texas, That 
the enrolling clerk of the house be instructed to correct House Bill 
No. 1172 as follows:
	(1)  Strike the unnumbered SECTIONS of the bill that amend 
Sections 56.304, 56.305, 61.225, and 61.227, Education Code; strike 
the unnumbered SECTIONS of the bill that add Sections 56.3071 and 
61.2251, Education Code; and strike the unnumbered SECTION of the 
bill that repeals Section 56.307(h), Education Code (Senate FA No. 
1 by Zaffirini).
	(2)  In the SECTIONS of the bill that add transition 
language, strike the two subsections of the SECTION (Subsections 
(c) and (d), SECTION 5, Senate committee substitute) that adds 
transition language regarding Section 61.822, Education Code; 
strike the subsection of the SECTION (Subsection (a), SECTION 11, 
Senate FA No. 1 by Zaffirini) that adds transition language 
regarding Subchapter M, Chapter 56, Education Code; and strike the 
subsection of the SECTION (Subsection (d), SECTION 11, Senate FA 
No. 1 by Zaffirini) that adds transition language regarding 
Sections 61.225, 61.227, and 61.2251, Education Code.

H.B. No. 1172.
