H.R. No. 104


R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, January 1, 2005, was indeed a special day for Jaime and Diana Barrera, for on that day their son, Jared, was born; and WHEREAS, One of the first babies born in Montgomery County in 2005, Jared made his much-anticipated entry into the world at 7:10 p.m., weighing seven pounds, 15 ounces; his parents and the staff of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital were delighted with the fortuitous arrival of this special New Year's baby; and WHEREAS, Jared's parents have plenty of experience showering love and attention on a newborn, since they have two daughters who will undoubtedly take great pride in helping their baby brother with the many challenges of life; and WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a wondrous event in the lives of parents, friends, and extended family, but it is especially moving when it heralds the start of a new year; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby welcome Jared Barrera as a new citizen of the Lone Star State and extend heartfelt congratulations to Jaime and Diana Barrera on the joyous birth of their son; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Barrera as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
