R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, June 3, 2004, was indeed a special day in the lives of Dawn and Jim Haddox, for on that day they became the proud parents of an adorable baby boy, Kenneth Alexander Haddox; and WHEREAS, Kenneth Alexander weighed in at a strapping eight pounds, five ounces, and measured 21 inches, and his long-awaited arrival has brought great joy into the lives of his grandparents, Ken and Loretta Gorman, as well as to the other members of his close-knit family; and WHEREAS, Though Kenneth was born in Tucson, Arizona, he rightfully claims distinguished Lone Star lineage as the youngest in a long line of accomplished Texans, and it is fitting that this handsome little boy be accorded special Texas citizenship at this time; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby recognize Kenneth Alexander Haddox as an honorary Texan and congratulate Dawn and Jim Haddox on the birth of their son; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Kenneth and his parents as an expression of best wishes from the Texas House of Representatives.
