R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Charlie and Bernice Passur of Crane marked a special 
event in their long and happy union on February 20, 2004, 
celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary as the guests of honor 
at a memorable reception; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on February 21, 1954, in 
Carlsbad, New Mexico, this loving pair have nurtured a strong bond 
that continues to grow ever deeper in admiration, trust, and mutual 
respect; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Passur are respected members of their 
West Texas community and were the co-owners of T&P Clothiers for 
many years before their respective retirements; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century the Passurs have enjoyed an 
enduring union that has enriched their lives and the lives of their 
family and friends, and it is a pleasure to recognize this momentous 
milestone in their marriage; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Charlie and Bernice Passur on their 
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Passurs as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
