R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Jack and Dorothy Stovall of Big Spring celebrated 
their 50th wedding anniversary on April 3, 2004, at a special 
reception and dinner held in their honor; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Stovall and the former Dorothy Essmieir were 
united in matrimony on April 3, 1954, at a ceremony in Ganado and 
have since enjoyed a marriage filled with love, trust, and mutual 
respect; and
	WHEREAS, Over the last five decades, Mr. and Mrs. Stovall, 
both retired employees of the Big Spring State Hospital, have felt 
great pride as their family has grown to include four children, 
Debbie Westfall, Ray Don Stovall, Leta Henson, and Gary Stovall, 10 
grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, The enduring union of Jack and Dorothy Stovall 
remains a source of inspiration to the many friends and family 
members with whom they have shared the richness of their lives; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Jack and Dorothy Stovall on their 
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes 
for many more years of happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Stovall as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
