H.R. No. 317



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Carey and Lola Tramel of Midland celebrated their 
60th wedding anniversary on January 20, 2004, marking a notable 
milestone in their long and happy marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Tramel and the former Lola Jenkins were joined 
in matrimony on January 20, 1944, in Corsicana and since that time, 
they have been blessed with three children, Saundra Gaines, Carey 
D. Tramel, and Brenda Hardesty, and they have also welcomed five 
beloved grandchildren and two great-grandchildren into their 
family; and
	WHEREAS, Valued residents of Midland since 1956, the Tramels 
attend Cuthbert and Austin Church of Christ; and
	WHEREAS, For six decades this devoted couple have nurtured 
and sustained a special bond, and their loving union is an 
inspiration to all who know them; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Carey and Lola Tramel on their 60th 
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Tramel as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
