R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, In commemoration of their 50th wedding anniversary, 
Louis and Ramona Dominguez renewed their wedding vows in a ceremony 
held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on October 25, 2003; 
and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Dominguez and his bride, the former Ramona 
Sanchez, began their journey together as husband and wife on 
October 24, 1953, at a ceremony held in Stanton; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Dominguez have been blessed with four 
children, Louis Dominguez, Jr., Susan Rios, Emelda Dominguez, and 
Ricky Dominguez, and they have also happily welcomed the arrival of 
eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren into their family; 
and
	WHEREAS, Respected members of the Midland community and Our 
Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, the couple formerly lived in 
Roswell, New Mexico, and Monahans; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Dominguez have shared the trials and 
triumphs of five decades together, and it is a pleasure to join in 
honoring this memorable milestone in their union; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Louis and Ramona Dominguez on 50 
years of marriage and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
continued happiness; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Dominguez as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
