R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
rejoicing, and on October 7, 2003, the Reverend Dr. F. Ray Riddle 
and Jane Riddle of Midland marked this significant milestone in 
their long and happy marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Dr. Riddle and the former Jane Montgomery were 
married October 7, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri; and
	WHEREAS, This devoted couple have enjoyed an active life 
together; Dr. Riddle is now pastor emeritus of First Presbyterian 
Church in Midland and chaplain emeritus of Hospice of Midland; 
deeply committed to serving others, the Riddles have established a 
fund through the Permian Basin Area Foundation to support 
charitable purposes and programs; and
	WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Riddle celebrated their golden 
anniversary with family members in Kansas City, Missouri; their 
enduring marriage remains a source of inspiration and joy to the 
family and friends with whom they have shared the richness of their 
lives, and this devoted couple are most deserving of warmest 
congratulations; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate the Reverend Dr. F. Ray and Jane 
Riddle on the momentous occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary 
and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; 
and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Riddle as an expression of high 
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
