H.R. No. 332



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary is truly cause for a 
celebration, and the year 2004 marked this momentous milestone in 
the lives of Walter and Dona Bea Schneider of Midland; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Schneider married the love of his life, the 
former Dona Bea Lohse, on January 15, 1944, in a ceremony held in 
Lubbock; since exchanging their wedding vows, the couple have 
nurtured a close and rewarding relationship that has brought them 
much happiness and contentment; and
	WHEREAS, Blessed with a fine family, the Schneiders are the 
proud parents of three children, John, Don, and Jymm Schneider, and 
they have also embraced the joys of becoming grandparents with the 
arrival of seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Schneider are retired from careers in 
the insurance and tax service businesses; they lived in Columbus, 
Lubbock, San Angelo, Iraan, and Andrews before moving to Midland, 
where they are valued congregants of Our Savior's Lutheran Church; 
and
	WHEREAS, Together, this devoted couple have shared the trials 
and triumphs of six decades, and it is a distinct pleasure to join 
in honoring their enduring union; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Walter and Dona Bea Schneider on 
their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best 
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Schneiders as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
