R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, James and Barbara Luedecke of Midland celebrated 
their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception held at Grace 
Lutheran Church on March 20, 2004; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Luedecke and the former Barbara Patterson were 
married on March 18, 1954, in Pampa, and they raised their family in 
Pampa, Snyder, and Abilene before moving to Midland in 1971, where 
Mr. Luedecke worked at the Midland Reporter-Telegram and Qualified 
Printers; members of the Church of Christ, the Luedeckes have been 
blessed with two children, Wende Luedecke and Pat Luedecke, and two 
grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Their golden anniversary brought Mr. and Mrs. 
Luedecke a special opportunity to reflect with joy on the five 
decades that they have shared together; mutual devotion has 
sustained their bond for half a century, and their lasting 
relationship remains an inspiration to all who know them; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate James and Barbara Luedecke on their 
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for 
continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Luedeckes as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
