R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Gus and Pat Keller of Midland celebrated the joyous 
occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary with a party hosted by 
their children at Grace Lutheran Church on December 27, 2003; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Keller and the former Pat Laney were married on 
December 27, 1953, in Lyons, Kansas; in their five decades 
together, they have raised four children, Bill, Paul, Mike, and 
Karl Keller, and have seen their family grow to include 10 beloved 
grandchildren; and 
	WHEREAS, Mr. Keller is retired as a geologist with Oxy USA, 
while Mrs. Keller has been a dedicated homemaker throughout their 
marriage; besides spending time with their family and friends, the 
Kellers enjoy the fellowship of Grace Lutheran Church and their 
membership at Ranchland Hills Golf Club; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Keller share a mutual devotion that has 
enriched their lives this past half-century and withstood the 
passage of time; together they have created many happy memories and 
will undoubtedly continue to do so in the years to come; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Gus and Pat Keller on their golden 
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
continued happiness and love; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Kellers as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
