R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Harrison Westmoreland of Marshall achieved an admirable level of excellence in the sport of dirt bike racing by winning first place in the 125 Amateur Class of the Texas Cross Country Racing Association; and WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Dare and Gail Westmoreland, this young Texan demonstrated exceptional skill and physical prowess as he expertly rode his Yamaha Y-2125 bike through a challenging course to edge out other tough competitors for the coveted title; and WHEREAS, Mr. Westmoreland, who is ranked fifth in his junior class at Marshall High School, is active in his youth group at the Cypress Valley Bible Church; and WHEREAS, A source of tremendous pride to his family and friends, Mr. Westmoreland may take great pleasure in this recent achievement; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Harrison Westmoreland for winning first place in the 125 Amateur Class of the Texas Cross Country Racing Association and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Westmoreland as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
