R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Family and friends mourned the tragic passing of James Wesley Holbrook, Jr., of Dallas, on December 12, 2004, at the age of 53; and WHEREAS, A lifelong Texan, Jimmy Holbrook was a graduate of Sunset High School and worked as a paint contractor; a hardworking, amiable gentleman, he found solace in his faith and loved listening to music and rooting for his favorite sports team, The University of Texas Longhorns; and WHEREAS, Mr. Holbrook was a devoted husband and the proud father of five children, who may find some comfort in their cherished memories of joyful moments together; he will certainly be missed by all those who were privileged to know him; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of James Wesley Holbrook, Jr., and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Diane Holbrook; to his daughters, Stacy Holbrook and Holli Cook; to his sons, James Holbrook III, Brian Holbrook, and Joseph Holbrook; to his father, James W. Holbrook, Sr.; to his stepmother, Bobbie Sue Holbrook; to his sisters, Karen Piper and Diane Medina; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of James Wesley Holbrook, Jr. Hodge ______________________________ Speaker of the House I certify that H.R.
