R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The golden wedding anniversary is a special 
milestone, and Eldon and Georgia Welch of Tarzan celebrated this 
momentous occasion on November 18, 2004; and
	WHEREAS, The loving couple were honored by their friends and 
family at a reception at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in 
Stanton where many memories were shared, including the events of 
that joyous day 50 years ago when Mr. Welch and the former Georgia 
Glaze were joined in marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Welch have shared five decades of love 
and affection for each other, enjoying many happy times with their 
four daughters, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; 
their enduring union remains an inspiration to all those who have 
shared in its joy; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commemorate the 50th wedding anniversary of 
Eldon and Georgia Welch and congratulate them on this memorable 
event; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Welch as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
