R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A golden wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
celebration, and on January 29, 2005, Wayne and Ginny Piette of 
Midland marked this significant milestone in their long and happy 
marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Piette exchanged wedding vows on 
January 29, 1955; they have been blessed with a close-knit family 
that includes children Reneé, Guy, Suzanne, Pam, Brad, Nancy, 
Terry, Jennifer, and Greg, and 11 grandchildren, Luke, Ashley, 
Shanon, Jeremie, Mallory, Dylan, Trey, Hannah, Danielle, Grace, and 
Ben; and
	WHEREAS, Over the course of the past five decades, the 
Piettes have nurtured a strong bond of mutual love, respect, and 
admiration for each other, and their marriage continues to inspire 
their wide circle of loved ones; and
	WHEREAS, The enduring union of this devoted couple remains a 
source of joy to the family and friends with whom they have shared 
their lives, and they are truly most deserving of congratulations; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Wayne and Ginny Piette on the special 
occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them 
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Piettes as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
