R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
celebration, and on January 20, 2005, Isabel and Billie R. Proctor, 
Sr., of Midland marked this momentous occasion in their long and 
happy marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Proctor and the former Isabel Vallarelli were 
married at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Brooklyn, New 
York, on January 20, 1945; they have been residents of Midland since 
August 1968; and
	WHEREAS, Over the six decades of their marriage, they have 
welcomed into their family five children, Billie Proctor, Jr., 
Michael Proctor, Anita Carnett, and the late Raymond and Robert 
Proctor, as well as 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four 
great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, The enduring union of this devoted couple remains a 
source of joy to the family and friends with whom they have shared 
their lives, and they are truly most deserving of congratulations; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Isabel and Billie R. Proctor, Sr., on the 
special occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Proctors as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
