R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times, loving 
moments, and meaningful accomplishments may comfort the family and 
friends of Florentina Dearo, who died on April 1, 2004; and
	WHEREAS, A longtime resident of San Elizario, Mrs. Dearo took 
great satisfaction in her roles of wife, mother, and homemaker; she 
was devoted to her husband, Andres L. Dearo, with whom she shared a 
fulfilling marriage; she was the mother of eight children and was 
further blessed with the addition of 26 grandchildren and nine 
great-grandchildren to her circle of loved ones; and
	WHEREAS, Mrs. Dearo was a treasure in the lives of those 
fortunate to have known her love and friendship, and though her 
presence is gone from us, the memory of her unwavering commitment to 
her family and friends will not soon be forgotten; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Florentina Dearo and 
extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her 
husband, Andres L. Dearo; to her children, Jose Rodriguez, Sergio 
Mendez, Andres Dearo, Jr., Alejandro Dearo, Gloria Banda, Sandra D. 
Flores, Ruby Tellez, and Rosa Guerreca; to her grandchildren and 
great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and many friends; 
and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Florentina 
Dearo.
