R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Vicki Keene of Dallas has made notable contributions 
to efforts to make the Kidd Springs community of Oak Cliff a safer 
place in which to live, work, and raise a family; and
	WHEREAS, A longtime resident of the area, Ms. Keene began her 
participation in the Crime Watch program when she discovered that 
sex offenders were living near a local park, where children often 
play; and
	WHEREAS, Her tireless efforts have resulted in superior 
cooperation between police and the community, a safer neighborhood, 
and an improved quality of life for area residents; and
	WHEREAS, Vicki Keene is a woman of determination and 
integrity who has worked successfully for the betterment of her 
community, and her exceptional efforts have made her an inspiration 
to all who are privileged to know her; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Vicki Keene for her contributions in 
behalf of the residents of Oak Cliff and extend to her sincere best 
wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Keene as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
