R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Walter and Florene Teinert of Midland marked a 
special milestone in their marriage on January 29, 2005, for on that 
date they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Teinert and the former Florene Arldt were united 
in matrimony on January 29, 1955, at Trinity Lutheran Church in 
Austin; they have been blessed with two children, Glen Teinert and 
Debbie Vasicek, and through the years their family has grown to 
include three grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the Teinerts 
have been Midland residents since 1964 and are now enjoying an 
active and rewarding retirement together; during the course of 
their careers, Mr. Teinert was employed by the City of Midland 
Health Department, while Mrs. Teinert worked for Grammer-Murphy for 
10 years; and
	WHEREAS, For a half-century, Walter and Florene Teinert have 
shared a union based on love, trust, and mutual respect, and their 
strong and happy marriage continues to inspire all those who know 
this devoted couple; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Walter and Florene Teinert on the joyous 
occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them best 
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Teinerts as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
